TEE Water for Injection System (TMED)
The TMED Series from TEE represents a new generation of Multiple Effect Distillers (MED) specifically engineered for the production of Water for Injection (WFI) in compliance with international pharmacopoeias:USP, Ph. Eur., JP, and BP. Leveraging the falling film evaporation principle, TMED ensures superior thermal performance, reduced operational costs, and unmatched microbiological purity — making it ideal for aseptic pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.

Design Highlights
Multi-effect evaporation for maximum energy efficiency and low utility consumption Integrated DTS heat exchangers (preheater, condenser, cooler) for optimized heat recovery High-efficiency separation system using cavity wing separators for complete removal of pyrogens and impurities Compact vertical columns designed for easy integration into cleanrooms and GMP areas

WFI Types Available
We offer complete, validated solutions for both temperature-controlled distribution systems: Hot WFI (≥ 80°C): Maintains microbial integrity through thermal sanitization Cold WFI (typically 5–15°C): Circulated with sterile filtration and UV safeguards

Construction Features
All components are fabricated to meet stringent cGMP and hygienic design requirements: Material: AISI 316L stainless steel (for all product contact surfaces) Surface Finish: Internal Ra ≤ 0.5 µm, fully pickled and passivated Welding: Orbital GTAW with boroscopic inspection Gaskets: High-purity PTFE, compliant with FDA and USP Class VI Pressure Tested for operational safety and regulatory compliance

Smart Operating Features
Automation-driven features to enhance reliability, safety, and documentation: Auto Blowdown with shutdown safety logic Auto Drainable Design for easy maintenance and sterilization Auto Sampling for continuous quality monitoring SCADA integration with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
Flexible Capacity Range
Whether you're a small-scale production unit or a high-throughput facility, TPW systems are available in capacities from 200 to 10,000 L/h — with custom designs upon request.
